Tax Manager at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Tax Manager.

Salary:

• €3,200–€3,500 monthly

Work arrangement:

• Based in Nicosia, with flexible working arrangements.

Main duties:

• Manage direct-tax compliance and advisory services for clients.
• Prepare and review company and individual tax computations and oversee personal and corporate income-tax returns.
• Deal with tax authorities to resolve issues and obtain certificates, rulings and clearances.
• Research local and international tax developments, maintain compliance and identify planning opportunities.
• Prepare and review tax rulings, reports, correspondence and submissions to clients and the Cyprus Tax Department.
• Oversee and assist with transfer-pricing documentation, benchmarking studies and local files.
• Supervise, coach and develop colleagues, maintaining quality and delivery deadlines.
• Carry out further related work assigned by the Senior Tax Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline and a strong academic record.
• ACA/ACCA, ADIT or equivalent professional tax qualification.
• At least five years in a tax practice, audit firm or similar setting, including management of client engagements.
• Strong organisation, time management, leadership, analysis and attention to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and with a team, develop colleagues and manage competing deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent written and spoken Greek and English; Russian or other languages are advantageous.
• Strong IT skills and adaptability to new technologies.
• Integrity, professionalism and a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Schedule:

• Wednesday and Friday afternoons off.
