Mayfair Hotels, a family-owned hospitality business established in 1983, is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for its hotel in Paphos.

With authentic hospitality at the heart of our vision, we work together as a family to create enjoyable experiences for our guests. We are looking for an organised and service-minded professional to supervise restaurant service and support our team in delivering a welcoming and attentive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

·        Supervise daily restaurant service, ensuring efficient operations and consistent service standards.

·        Support the Restaurant Manager in allocating duties, organising shifts and coordinating the team.

·        Check that tables, service stations and dining areas are properly prepared before each service.

·        Guide, train and support waiters and commis waiters, providing practical feedback.

·        Monitor service throughout each meal period and assist the team during busy periods.

·        Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, referring matters to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.

·        Monitor service supplies, report shortages and help minimise waste and breakages.

·        Ensure compliance with food hygiene, cleanliness, health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

·        Previous experience in restaurant service, including supervisory or team-leading responsibilities, ideally within a hotel.

·        Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

·        Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

·        A guest-focused approach and the ability to resolve issues calmly and professionally.

·        Good command of English. Greek and additional languages will be considered an advantage.

·        Ability to train and motivate a team and work closely with other departments.

·        Attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities during busy service periods.

·        Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
