Senior Surgical / Aesthetic Nurse at Dart Recruitment

On behalf of our client, a reputable Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery practice based in Nicosia, we are seeking an experienced Senior Surgical & Aesthetic Nurse to join the clinical team and work closely with the Plastic Surgeon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced theatre nurse seeking a long-term role within a high-standard private clinical environment.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will support the surgeon throughout the full patient journey, including operating theatre procedures, consultations, aesthetic treatments and postoperative care.

The role requires strong operating-theatre experience, excellent sterile technique, attention to detail and a high level of responsibility for patient safety and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and/or circulating nurse duties during surgical procedures

• Prepare the operating theatre, sterile field, instruments and equipment

• Maintain strict aseptic and infection-control standards

• Support patient preparation, positioning and theatre safety procedures

• Assist the surgeon during surgical procedures

• Support postoperative wound care, dressings, drains and suture care

• Assist during consultations, injectable treatments and aesthetic procedures

• Provide pre- and postoperative patient guidance

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records

• Monitor clinical stock, sterile supplies and consumables

• Coordinate with the surgeon, anaesthesia team and operating facilities

Requirements

• Degree in Nursing and eligibility to practise legally in Cyprus

• Minimum 3 years of recent hands-on operating-theatre experience

• Experience as a Scrub Nurse, Circulating Nurse, Theatre Nurse or Perioperative Nurse

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation and infection prevention

• Experience in Plastic, Reconstructive, General, ENT, Maxillofacial or Breast Surgery will be considered an advantage

• Experience in postoperative wound care is required

• Wound closure / suturing experience will be considered a strong advantage

• BLS Certification

• Previous exposure to aesthetic medicine, injectables, mesotherapy or aesthetic devices will be considered an advantage

• Strong spoken Greek and professional English

• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and patient-care skills

• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

• Flexibility according to the surgical schedule

• Professional, discreet and long-term mindset

Please note: Candidates whose experience is limited to ward nursing, outpatient clinics or aesthetic clinics without substantial recent operating-theatre experience will not be considered suitable for this position.
