Our client, a newly established proprietary trading firm operating as an AI-first organization, is building sophisticated trading systems designed for massive scale and performance.

They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who takes full ownership — someone who thinks in systems, builds with scalability and resilience in mind, and takes pride in creating reliable, production-grade infrastructure. This is a role for an engineer who cares as deeply about automation, cloud infrastructure, security, and system reliability as they do about the quality and efficiency of every deployment.

You’ll play a critical role in designing, optimising, and maintaining high-performance infrastructure that underpins intelligent, data-driven trading at scale. You’ll help build robust CI/CD pipelines, improve system observability and reliability, and ensure infrastructure can scale securely and efficiently as the business grows.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and improve AWS production and staging environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• ⁠Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform/ Infrastructure as Code.
• ⁠Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• ⁠Manage Kubernetes application deployments
• ⁠Implement and maintain GitOps workflows
• ⁠Implement monitoring, centralized logging, metrics, and alerting.
• ⁠Design and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• ⁠Manage cloud networking, DNS, load balancing, certificates, secrets, and access controls.
• ⁠Improve infrastructure security, scalability, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• ⁠Support production incidents, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
• ⁠Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational processes.
• ⁠Work closely with development teams to ensure applications are deployed and operated reliably.
• ⁠Contribute to cloud architecture and infrastructure standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Cloud Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• ⁠Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• ⁠Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• ⁠Experience with Kubernetes deployment management.
• ⁠Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• ⁠Experience with GitOps practices
• ⁠Strong Linux administration skills.
• ⁠Strong understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, TLS/SSL, and cloud networking.
• ⁠Experience implementing monitoring, logging, metrics, and alerting.
• ⁠Scripting and automation experience using Python or similar
• ⁠Strong understanding of AWS IAM, secrets management, security, backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
• ⁠Strong troubleshooting and production incident-management skills.
