Seafreight Import Manager at Kazoulis Global Logistics Ltd

Kazoulis Global Logistics Ltd is seeking to recruit a Seafreight Import Manager

Responsibilities:

·      Manage the department’s day-to-day operations

·      Ensure correct pricing and billing

·      Prepare quotations for DDU/DAP/DDP/Cargo tenders/ Prepare AMETA

·      Liaise with agents for shipment deliveries/arrivals

·      Invoice all agents for DDU/DAP/DDP/Cargo

·      Ensure that all delivery orders from shipping lines and/or invoices from agents are issued based on the agreed rates

·      Contribute to general tariff preparation

·      Liaise with sales and marketing departments and contribute to business development

·      Monitor rates from agents and lines

·      Ensure optimum teamwork and productivity

·      Take ownership and resolve issues

·      Assist in any other activities necessary for the smooth operation of the department and the company in general

 

 

Job Challenge

 

·      Ensure that all Sea Freight customers have a seamless experience and build productive relationships with all other departments

·      Build strong relationships with all carriers/agents/clients

·      Analyze the department’s revenue and expenditure to ensure maximum profitability

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

·      Working experience in a similar position

·      Knowledge of Freightplus & Customs system-Theseas, will be considered an advantage

·      Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in Greek & English languages

·      Strong interpersonal skills, values and leadership capabilities

·      Planning and organizing skills

·      In depth understanding of the industry

·      Good knowledge of MS Office

·      University degree
