Operations Operator at Alpha.jobs Recruitment

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in collaboration with a licensed employment agency with licence number 547, is seeking an Operations Operator.

Working Schedule

Rotating shifts, five days per week, including up to two night shifts per week:

• Morning shift: 09:00–17:00.

• Evening shift: 17:00–01:00.

• Night shift: 01:00–09:00.

Key Requirements

• Ability to communicate professionally and tactfully with people of different nationalities.

• Very good written and verbal command of English.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Proactive, organised and able to take initiative.

• Computer literate.

Qualifications

• Academic or college diploma, or equivalent work experience.

• Relevant training.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor personnel movements, including embarkations, disembarkations and replacements, in accordance with established procedures.

• Report completed movements promptly and accurately.

• Monitor departmental correspondence and group communications involving team leaders, personnel, port agents and vessels.

• Address operational and HR-related needs, including travel, transportation, documentation and contracts.

• Operate the 24/7 operations call centre after office hours and escalate issues appropriately.

• Handle after-hours operational requests under the guidance of the duty officer.

• Collect and relay information regarding incidents onboard vessels or at ports.

• Assist with urgent or ongoing medical cases and personnel welfare requests.

• Maintain daily operational documentation and ensure a thorough handover to the next shift.

• Carry out other department-related tasks when required.

Salary

€1,400–€1,600 gross per month.
