Interior Architect / Interior Designer – Real Estate Development

Limassol, Cyprus 

The Opportunity

A growing real estate development business in Limassol is seeking an experienced Interior Architect / Interior Designer to join its in-house development team.

The role will focus on the design and delivery of high-quality residential and mixed-use projects, taking ownership of interior concepts and ensuring they are successfully translated from initial vision through detailed design, technical coordination and on-site execution.

This is a hands-on position for someone who combines strong creative ability with the technical understanding required to deliver interiors in a real estate development environment.

Key Responsibilities

·      Develop and coordinate interior design concepts for residential, communal and selected commercial spaces.

·      Produce and review layouts, detailed drawings, specifications, material palettes and interior design packages.

·      Coordinate interior architecture with architectural, MEP and structural requirements to ensure technically workable solutions.

·      Review designs and technical information prepared by external designers, consultants and suppliers.

·      Select and specify finishes, materials, sanitaryware, lighting, joinery, furniture and other interior elements.

·      Work closely with architects, project managers, contractors and suppliers throughout the design and construction process.

·      Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality and ensure the completed works reflect the approved design intent.

·      Resolve design and technical issues arising during construction while protecting the overall aesthetic and quality of the project.

·      Support mock-up reviews, material approvals, snagging and final handover.

·      Maintain consistency in interior quality and design language across multiple developments.

Candidate Profile

Education: Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally working on high-quality residential, hospitality or mixed-use projects.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant 3D/design software, with Revit or ArchiCAD experience considered advantageous. Strong understanding of technical drawings, detailing and construction documentation is essential.

Design Capability: Strong eye for space planning, materials, finishes, lighting, detailing and contemporary residential interiors, combined with the ability to translate concepts into buildable solutions.

Project Exposure: Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers and specialist consultants through design and construction stages.

Approach: Creative but commercially aware, highly organised and comfortable managing several projects simultaneously in a fast-moving development environment.

Languages: Fluency in English is required. Greek would be considered an advantage.
