Mechanical Design Engineer at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Mechanical Design Engineer.

Salary:

– €1,600–2,500 gross per month, depending on experience.

Employment type:

– Full-time, entry-level role.

Work arrangement:

– On-site in Limassol.

Main duties:

– Research, design, develop and implement children’s DIY technical projects using construction parts, 3D printing, laser cutting and wood-processing equipment.

– Design educational toys, play concepts, components, experiments, models and building instructions.

– Produce student lesson plans, teacher guides, manuals and teacher-training programmes.

– Work across education, product design, software, electronics, graphics and marketing teams.

– Use tools including Tinkercad, MakeCode, Scratch, Inventor, SolidWorks, CorelDRAW and Photoshop.

– Teach and test STEM and makerspace lessons for ages 4–15+, collect data and support academic reports.

– Assist with events, school visits, presentations and centre operations when needed.

Requirements:

– Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or STEM Education.

– Creativity, enthusiasm for hands-on learning and confidence working with children and adults.

– 3D CAD, 3D printing, laser cutting, Arduino or Micro:bit are advantageous but not mandatory.

– Junior engineers are encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

– 45 hours per week across six days, including Saturday.

– Regular travel to another employer site may be required; eligible travel expenses are reimbursed.
