Django Full Stack Developer (Python) at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Django Full Stack Developer (Python).

Salary:

• Starting annual salary of €30,361.11 or €37,688.69, depending on appointment grade

Employment type:

• Full-time; initial 12-month appointment, renewable subject to performance and funding.

Work arrangement:

• Based in Nicosia, with flexible and remote working options.

Main duties:

• Join a research software-engineering team developing web applications for digital cultural heritage.
• Design, implement, test and maintain applications using Django and Python.
• Create responsive interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap.
• Build RESTful APIs with Django REST Framework.
• Design and optimise PostgreSQL or MySQL relational databases.
• Produce clean, maintainable code with clear documentation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related subject.
• Good Python knowledge and Django experience.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Django REST Framework, Docker, Linux, asynchronous programming with Celery or Redis, and authentication/authorisation knowledge are advantageous.
• Appointment grade depends on qualifications and experience.
