Compliance Officer at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Compliance Officer.

Salary:

– €2,500–3,500 monthly.

Employment type:

– Full-time.

Work arrangement:

– On-site.

Main duties:

– Establish, implement and continually improve the compliance programme in a newly created standalone role.

– Develop and update AML, due-diligence, anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies, procedures and internal controls.

– Monitor compliance governance and reporting arrangements.

– Create monitoring plans, perform reviews and identify regulatory risks.

– Recommend and follow up practical risk-mitigation measures.

– Deliver compliance-awareness initiatives and staff training.

– Track Cyprus and international regulatory developments and advise senior management on their impact.

– Coordinate specialist matters with external legal advisers.

– Maintain compliance registers, regulatory records and management reporting.

– Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.

– Investigate incidents, recommend corrective action and track remediation.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or a related field.

– Two to four years of experience in compliance, legal, regulatory-affairs or risk-management work.

– Fluency in Greek and English.

– Knowledge of international regulatory environments is an advantage.

– A recognised professional compliance qualification is an advantage.

Schedule:

– Monday to Thursday, 09:00–17:45.

– Friday, 09:00–16:30.
