System Administrator at Simple C2 IT

Overview 

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing Windows environments, virtualization platforms, and directory services, with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently and ensure the stability and security of IT systems. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments 
• Manage and support Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and security permissions 
• Administer and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V 
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure 
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues 
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patch management 
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures 
• Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to support business operations 

 

Required Qualifications 

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role 
• Strong expertise in Windows Server environments 
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration 
• Solid knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V virtualization technologies 
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent organizational and communication skills 

 

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills 

• Experience with Citrix environments 
• Familiarity with Ivanti (endpoint management or IT service management tools) 
• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud platforms
