Store Manager at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Store Manager.

Salary:

– € 28,000 – 32,000 / year

Work arrangement:

Main duties:

– Take overall responsibility for daily store operations, trading readiness and compliance with operating standards.

– Deliver sales, profitability and cost targets, monitoring performance and acting quickly on variances.

– Plan staffing, attendance, shifts, leave, days off and overtime while maintaining accurate records.

– Coach and develop the team, set clear expectations and promote accountable customer service.

– Resolve customer questions and complaints professionally.

– Work with commercial colleagues on sales opportunities, merchandise presentation and promotions.

– Control stockroom processes, stock accuracy and stocktake preparation.

– Maintain health and safety, evacuation, first-aid, security, cash-control and loss-prevention procedures.

Requirements:

– Previous retail-management experience, preferably in a high-volume or multi-department store.

– Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.

– Understanding of sales, profitability, conversion, basket value and staff-productivity KPIs.

– Knowledge of stock control, cash handling, loss prevention and health and safety.

– Good Greek and/or English and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and retail systems.

– Availability for weekends and public holidays according to retail needs.
