Senior Accountant at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Senior Accountant.

Salary:

– €27,000–€28,000 gross per year

Employment type:

– Full-time

Work arrangement:

– On-site

Main duties:

– Maintain accounting records, journal entries and reconciliations.

– Prepare profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets and supporting schedules.

– Prepare quarterly VAT returns and payroll and support external audits.

– Investigate discrepancies and apply IFRS, Cyprus tax and accounting-software controls.

Requirements:

– At least three years of accounting experience.

– Relevant degree is preferred but not mandatory; LCCI, AAT, CAT, ACCA, ACA or similar qualifications are accepted.

– Sound IFRS, VAT and payroll knowledge.

– Professional-services or in-house accounting experience; fintech or commercial exposure and audit/tax experience are advantageous.

– Strong English, attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Schedule:

– 38-hour flexible working week.
