Senior Accountant at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Senior Accountant.

Salary:

– €1,700–2,200 per month.

Employment type:

– Full-time.

Work arrangement:

– On-site in Larnaka.

Main duties:

– Manage day-to-day accounting operations and keep financial records complete and accurate.

– Produce management reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

– Complete IR7, IR614, IR1 and other relevant tax filings.

– Calculate and submit VAT and ensure ongoing compliance.

– Administer payroll and statutory employer obligations.

– Reconcile bank and supplier accounts and maintain general-ledger balances.

– Develop budgets, forecasts, cash-flow reviews and financial analysis.

– Present detailed Excel-based reports and support audit work.

Requirements:

– Accounting or Finance degree, semi-qualified ACCA status or LCCI Higher.

– Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally including a senior role.

– Strong command of VAT requirements and payroll administration.

– Experience with accounting software; Cycom Sophia is preferred.

– Advanced Excel knowledge, including formulas and reporting tools.

– Strong analysis, organisation, problem-solving and deadline management.
