Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Senior Accountant (9350).

Salary:

• €40,000–€42,000 per year

Work arrangement:

Main duties:

• Support the Financial Controller with monthly close for several companies across EU jurisdictions.
• Prepare and review management accounts, financial statements, internal reports and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany balances, annual financial statements and supporting schedules for audits.
• Assist with VAT, corporate-income-tax and other statutory returns, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Support quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, cash-flow management and monitoring of loans and financial covenants.
• Coordinate payments to suppliers and authorities, maintain controls including SOX-related requirements, and support ad-hoc analysis.
• Guide and review junior finance staff and cooperate with auditors, tax advisers and external accountants.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or a related discipline.
• ACA, ACCA or CPA membership, or final-stage progress toward qualification.
• At least three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong Excel, MS Office and Caseware skills; SAP Business One and LucaNet experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, month-end close, reconciliations and reporting.
• Excellent Greek and English, analytical ability, organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.

Schedule:

• 40-hour week; Monday to Thursday start time may be between 07:00 and 09:00.
• Friday hours are 09:00–15:00.
