Night Receptionist – GrandResort by Leonardo Hotels

Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean is currently recruiting for the position of Night Receptionist at GrandResort by Leonardo Hotels, a hotel that operates all year round.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow and apply all arrival and departure procedures, as well as all other departmental procedures.
• Ensure that all daily arrivals have their assigned rooms ready at the scheduled time. Check for any pending arrivals or departures and report them to the Head Receptionist.
• Be familiar with the opening hours of all hotel departments, amenities and facilities, as well as any scheduled events, such as live music evenings and Cyprus nights.
• Receive and provide all necessary information from the previous shift and ensure a proper handover to the next shift. Check and maintain the cash float.
• Check for any pending maintenance issues and report them to the Head Receptionist. Any damages that have not been rectified should be recorded in the daily Maintenance Report.
• Be aware of the current exchange rate and weather forecast, and ensure that all necessary brochures and information materials are available.
• Be informed about the general availability of room types for the day in order to promote room sales and upgrades, with the aim of maximizing the average room rate.
• Follow all GDPR requirements and procedures to ensure the protection and confidentiality of personal information and data.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Pleasant and professional personality.
• Excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of an additional language will be considered an advantage.
• Diploma from a Hotel School or previous experience in a similar position.
