Junior System Administrator at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Junior System Administrator.

Salary:

– €2,000–3,000 per month.

Employment type:

– Full-time.

Work arrangement:

– On-site in Limassol.

Main duties:

– Support and monitor AWS and Azure environments, network services and backups.

– Administer Linux users, permissions, updates, services and logs and troubleshoot incidents.

– Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365.

– Maintain GitLab repositories, permissions, runners and CI/CD pipelines.

– Apply patches and security updates and respond to monitoring alerts.

– Resolve day-to-day support requests and document solutions.

Requirements:

– Working knowledge of Linux administration.

– Familiarity with AWS or Azure and willingness to learn the other platform.

– Experience with Microsoft infrastructure technologies.

– Solid TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and firewall fundamentals.

– Exposure to Git, GitLab and CI/CD.

– Methodical troubleshooting and good spoken and written English.

– Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, cloud certifications or Zabbix, Grafana and Prometheus are advantages.
