Junior Accountant – VAT & EU Reporting at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Junior Accountant – VAT & EU Reporting.

Salary:

– €1,650–€2,150 gross per month

Employment type:

– Full-time

Work arrangement:

– On-site in Nicosia

Main duties:

– Prepare VAT returns and VIES declarations for review.

– Support One-Stop Shop reporting for cross-border EU consumer transactions and apply the correct VAT treatment.

– Post accounting records, reconcile balances and support IAS/IFRS-compliant reporting.

– Maintain supporting schedules and communicate clearly with the team on open items.

Requirements:

– Relevant accounting education and some practical accounting experience.

– Interest in Cyprus and EU VAT, OSS reporting and IAS/IFRS accounting.

– Accuracy, initiative and willingness to develop specialist knowledge.

– Good organisation and ability to work collaboratively.
