CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies operating in the Shipping Industry, we are seeking to recruit an HR Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. A newly created position here in Cyprus, the successful applicant will drive strategic and operational HR initiatives including performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, training, and employee engagement—fostering a transparent, efficient, and empowering work culture. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Human Resources, Business, or another related field who possess a minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the HR field, with at least 2 years in a leadership position. Experience in international or multi-office environments would be preferred, and fluency in Greek and English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with Group goals.
  • Establish and implement a formal performance appraisal system.
  • Design structured job descriptions, career paths, continuous improvement, and goal-setting frameworks.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning across global locations for onshore staff.
  • Coordinate salary review and bonus cycles with clear performance linkages.
  • Lead employee engagement programs and promote a culture of accountability.
  • Roll out targeted training programs
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR governance.
  • Maintain HR records, data analytics, and reporting for leadership review.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Experience in international or multi-office environments preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
  • High integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
  • Fluent in English and Greek.
