What We’re Looking For:

As a Funding Officer, you will be responsible for a comprehensive set of tasks centered on transaction processing and operational compliance. This includes the execution of various transaction types (such as SEPA, SWIFT, Credit card, and E-wallets), which necessitates close coordination with internal support and Compliance/AML teams, as well as liaising directly with banks and payment service providers. A key daily duty is the monitoring of deposits and withdrawals, along with the management of chargebacks and the thorough checking of all related payment documents. Furthermore, the role involves performing essential daily and monthly reports, maintaining clear communication with clients regarding their transactions, and handling ad hoc requests from the Head of Department (HoD).

What You’ll Do:

  • Client funding and transactions: Process client deposits, withdrawals, and account transfers efficiently and accurately.
  • Reconciliation and record-keeping: Perform financial reconciliation procedures to ensure the accurate recording of the company’s and clients’ financial transactions. Maintain up-to-date records of all client transactions and associated documentation.
  • Problem-solving and communication: Respond to client and internal queries in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate with other departments, such as Sales and Support, to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
  • Procedural improvement: Identify and enhance internal procedures, systems, and controls to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the FinTech, Forex (FX), or Gaming industries is highly preferred, as these sectors involve high-volume transaction processing.

Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • Extreme Attention to Detail: Ability to process high volumes of data with zero tolerance for error, ensuring client funds are handled accurately.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for liaising with banks, PSPs, and internal departments like Sales and Support.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to resolving transaction discrepancies and identifying bottlenecks in funding workflows.
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle ad hoc requests from the Head of Department and work effectively under pressure during peak transaction times.

Working Schedule:

The ordinary working hours will be 8 hours per day, over five days a week, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 – 15:00, 9:00 – 17:00, and 12:00 – 20:00 on a bi-weekly rotational basis.
