Construction Foreman – Residential Development

Limassol, Cyprus 

The Opportunity

A growing real estate development and construction business in Limassol is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to support the on-site delivery of residential development projects.

Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, the successful candidate will coordinate daily site activities, supervise subcontractors and trades, monitor workmanship and help ensure construction progresses safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality expectations.

This is a hands-on site-based position for an experienced construction professional who is comfortable taking responsibility on site and keeping multiple trades and activities moving.

Key Responsibilities

·      Supervise day-to-day construction activities and coordinate trades, subcontractors and site operatives.

·      Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and instructions from the project team.

·      Monitor daily progress against the construction programme and highlight potential delays or site issues at an early stage.

·      Coordinate sequencing of works and ensure labour, materials and equipment are available when required.

·      Inspect workmanship and completed works to maintain the required standards of quality and finish.

·      Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, architects and other site professionals to resolve practical construction issues.

·      Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure agreed works are completed correctly and within required timeframes.

·      Support material deliveries, site logistics and the organisation of work areas.

·      Enforce site health and safety procedures and promote safe working practices across all site activities.

·      Assist with snagging, corrective works and preparation of projects for completion and handover.

·      Provide clear daily updates to the Project Manager on progress, labour, site issues and upcoming requirements.

Candidate Profile

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar role within the construction industry.

Project Exposure: Experience delivering residential developments, apartment buildings or similar building projects is strongly preferred.

Construction Knowledge: Strong practical understanding of construction methods, sequencing, materials, finishes and coordination of different trades.

Site Management: Proven ability to supervise subcontractors and site teams while maintaining control of programme, quality and day-to-day execution.

Technical Understanding: Ability to understand construction drawings, plans and specifications and translate them effectively into site activities.

Approach: Hands-on, organised and solution-oriented, with the confidence to take ownership of site issues and work effectively under pressure.

Safety: Good understanding of construction health and safety requirements and responsible site practices.

Languages: Greek is required, with a good working knowledge of English considered highly advantageous.
