AML Compliance Officer at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for AML Compliance Officer.

Salary:

• €2,000–€2,500 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications

Employment type:

• Full-time

Work arrangement:

• On-site in Nicosia.

Main duties:

• Develop and update AML and counter-terrorist-financing policies, procedures and manuals.
• Oversee KYC, CDD, EDD, beneficial-owner verification, source-of-funds and source-of-wealth checks, periodic reviews and remediation.
• Manage transaction monitoring, alerts, investigations, thresholds and reporting.
• Liaise directly with clients on compliance documentation and sensitive AML matters.
• Lead and support a team of at least three professionals and deliver staff training.
• Prepare periodic and annual compliance reports for management.
• Maintain work instructions, checklists, templates and role-specific procedures.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven AML and CFT experience in professional or financial services and mandatory ICPAC AML certification.
• Strong due-diligence and transaction-monitoring experience and previous direct client contact.
• Experience leading at least three people and preparing or updating AML manuals and internal procedures.
• Very good Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
• Proactive, organised, detail-focused and committed to continuous learning.
