AML and Compliance Officer at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for AML and Compliance Officer.

Salary:

• €3,000–€3,500 monthly

Work arrangement:

• On-site in Limassol

Main duties:

• Serve as the registered Compliance Officer and AML Compliance Officer with CySEC.
• Act as primary contact with CySEC and MOKAS/FIU Cyprus.
• Submit periodic and ad hoc regulatory reports accurately and on time.
• Prepare compliance reports for the board and regulators.
• Assess new Cyprus and EU legislation and propose implementation plans.
• Identify and report suspicious money-laundering or terrorist-financing activity.
• Lead compliance-risk assessments, monitoring reviews and investigations.
• Resolve compliance issues, complaints and incidents and support inspections and internal audits.
• Conduct KYC/KYB reviews, screening and risk assessments.
• Advise and train other departments on compliance matters.

Requirements:

• CySEC Advanced and AML certifications.
• At least two years of compliance or AML experience in a CySEC-regulated entity.
• Strong knowledge of the CySEC framework and CFD/FX trading, leverage and product-intervention rules.
• Experience with transaction-monitoring and screening tools such as Sumsub, Refinitiv or LexisNexis.
• Working knowledge of EU or EEA jurisdictions and familiarity with MiCA.
• Proficiency in Greek and/or English.
