Accountant / Vessel Accountant at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Accountant / Vessel Accountant.

Salary:

– €2,500–€2,800 monthly

Employment type:

– Full-time employment

Work arrangement:

– Office-based work in Limassol

Main duties:

– Maintain accounting records for ship-management and marine trading activities.

– Process invoices, payments, receipts, credit notes and accounts-payable and accounts-receivable items.

– Complete bank, balance-sheet, intercompany and petty-cash reconciliations.

– Track vessel expenses including crew wages, port costs, bunkers, spares and repairs against budgets.

– Prepare management reporting, cash-flow analysis, VAT support and audit schedules.

Requirements:

– Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

– Relevant accounting experience; maritime or vessel-accounting exposure is a strong advantage.

– Experience with QuickBooks and Excel.

– Good English and the ability to coordinate with banks, suppliers, auditors and operational teams.
