Our client is a Cyprus-registered company with a showroom in Nicosia, and they’re looking to hire employees with experience in the automotive industry, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledge of e-scooters, petrol scooters, AC/DC chargers, and electric vehicles.

The Workshop Manager is responsible for the technical operations of the multi-brand repair facility, covering both electric cars and EV/ ICE scooters. This hybrid role combines management with advanced diagnostics and repair work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Workshop Operations:
  • Oversee day-to-day service operations and staff scheduling.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality repairs for scooters, EVs, and traditional cars.
  • Enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Technical Repairs:
  • Perform expert diagnostics and repairs.
  • Test vehicles post-repair for accuracy and safety.
  • Stay updated on EV systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Team Development:
  • Train and mentor mechanics and junior technicians.
  • Conduct regular technical briefings and workshops.
  • Customer Communication:
  • Support service advisors with technical explanations.
  • Handle complex customer concerns professionally.
  • Inventory & Equipment:
  • Manage tool calibration, workshop equipment, and parts stock.
  • Liaise with suppliers for EV and petrol parts availability.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure service records, warranties, and quality checks are maintained.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of hands-on repair experience; 2+ years in leadership.
  • Skilled in EV systems and conventional powertrains.
  • ASE or manufacturer-specific certifications preferred.
