UI/UX Designer (Hybrid – 8335) at CareerFinders Recruitment Services Ltd.

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global provider of payment solutions with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a talented UI/UX Designer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a UI/UX Designer, you will craft user-friendly, visually engaging interfaces for web applications. The role involves conducting user research, developing wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders to bring designs to life. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in a relevant field (Computer Science, MIS, Human-Computer Interaction), who possess approximately 2+ years of relevant experience designing web applications. You will need to hold a strong portfolio showcasing your previous UI/UX work, and be proficient with design tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and other UI design tools. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Create visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces for web applications that align with the brand with strong focus on user experience.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Work closely with the designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business goals.
• Prepare all design works for proper development handoff and collaboration.
• Work closely with developers to make sure design requirements are clearly executed.
• Create, maintain and evolve the company’s design system to ensure consistency across all web applications.
• Gather feedback from users and team members to iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all designs comply with web accessibility standards to provide an inclusive experience for all users.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Human-Computer Interaction) and/or combination of relevant training and/or experience in lieu of degree.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Typically 2+ years relevant experience in designing web applications.
• Proven experience with UI/UX web applications design work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and other UI design tools.
• Ability to solve complex design challenges creatively while considering user needs and business objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• A basic understanding of front-end technologies to effectively communicate with developers is desirable.
• Familiarity with payment technologies and trends in the fintech space will be considered a plus.
