Territory Sales Executive (Western Union) at GAP VASSILOPOULOS GROUP
GAP Vassilopoulos Group is currently seeking to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Executive for Western Union in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing Western Union’s business across Cyprus by signing, training, and activating new agents, while also managing and developing existing partnerships. This role involves the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding and ongoing account management with the goal of exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Support the activation of new agents and conduct regular visits to high-performing locations
· Manage the full lifecycle of independent agents across various regions in Cyprus
· Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand Western Union’s presence in key markets
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with agents, partners and customers
· Achieve and exceed sales and revenue goals
· Conduct market research to monitor trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
· Negotiate contracts and agreements with new agents and business partners
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
· Provide training, tools, and ongoing support to agents to drive usage and performance
Qualifications & Skills
· Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management (preferably in fintech or financial services)
· Previous experience in outside sales or door-to-door selling will be considered an advantage
· Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills
· Fluency in Greek and English is required
· Holder of a valid European driving licence
· Willingness and flexibility to travel across different territories in Cyprus
