Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, member of Marriott International, is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, and ambitious professional Social Media Specialist – Content Creator.

About Parklane

Parklane is the only internationally branded luxury beach resort in Cyprus, featuring 222 rooms, 34 suites and 18 villas, the award-winning Kalloni Spa and international branded restaurants such as Nammos Limassol and LPM Restaurant & Bar. The company owns the Park Tower, a completed 20-apartment luxury residential tower integrated within the resort’s premises. Parklane is part of MHV Mediterranean Hospitality Venture, a leading hospitality and real estate group with a portfolio consisting of luxury hotels & resorts and state-of-the-art developments both in Cyprus and abroad.

Duties & Responsibilities

Content Creation and Management:

  • Develop and execute social media content plans aligned with the company’s marketing strategy.
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content (text, images, videos, graphics) tailored for each platform.
  • Ensure all content adheres to the brand’s tone, voice, and style guidelines.

Social Media Strategy and Execution:

  • Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and monitoring of content across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Community Management:

  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages promptly and professionally.

Monitor online conversations and participate where relevant to build relationships and manage the brand’s online reputation.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversions) using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and provide actionable insights to optimize strategies.
  • Trend Monitoring:
  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
  • Suggest innovative ideas to boost audience engagement and brand presence.

Campaigns and Collaborations:

  •  Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with influencers, content creators, and other third parties to expand brand reach.
  •  Compliance and Crisis Management:

 

  • Ensure all content and activities comply with relevant laws, guidelines, and company policies.
  • Address potential crises swiftly and professionally in collaboration with PR and management teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
  • Experience with social media advertising and campaign management is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Additional Competencies:

  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and make data-backed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
