Senior Tax Associate at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Senior Tax Associate.

Salary:

• €1,800–€2,200 monthly

Employment type:

Work arrangement:

• Based in Nicosia, with flexible working arrangements.

Main duties:

• Support the Tax Manager or Supervisor with direct-tax advice and consultation for clients.
• Prepare and review assigned tax memoranda for companies and individuals.
• Assist with preparation and submission of personal and corporate income-tax returns.
• Research local and international tax laws and practice to support present and future compliance.
• Prepare or assist with tax letters, reports and advance rulings for clients and the Cyprus Tax Department.
• Assist with transfer-pricing documentation, benchmarking studies and local-file reports.
• Undertake further related tax work assigned by management.

Requirements:

• University degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field and a sound academic record.
• Three to four years’ relevant experience in an audit firm, tax practice or similar role.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, analyse accurately and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.
• Problem-solving ability.

Schedule:

• Wednesday and Friday afternoons off.
