Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Senior Software Engineer.

Salary:

• € 2,500 – 3,500 / month

Work arrangement:

• Fully on-site in Larnaca

Main duties:

• Gather and document requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Research and evaluate technical options before designing, developing and testing systems.
• Create data, process and system models that improve architecture, performance and reliability.
• Plan and coordinate system development, installation, integration and operation.
• Test, troubleshoot, document and upgrade applications and define maintenance procedures.
• Lead software professionals working on integrated information systems, process-control and embedded-control solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver reliable, high-quality applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least four years of hands-on software-development experience and at least one year leading a team.
• Knowledge of web technologies, frameworks, data structures and design patterns.
• Strong database and API integration experience, including performance, scalability and security.
• Track record of building maintainable, high-quality applications across the technology stack.
• ETL, FinTech, RegTech and business-analytics experience are advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and solve problems.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
