Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

Role Overview:

On behalf of our client, a rapidly growing fintech company specializing in the Forex industry, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer, their growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and quality assurance of web platforms, client portals, and mobile applications.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products. You will work closely with a skilled product team to design, develop, and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and optimize testing processes. Your expertise in both manual and automated testing will be crucial in upholding high-quality standards. This role also offers the opportunity to refine existing testing methodologies and introduce innovative approaches to enhance overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications (Android and iOS).
• Adhere to and improve QA processes and best practices.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases to validate software quality.
• Detect, document, and track software defects while collaborating with developers for resolution.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing for functionality, performance, and security.
• Manage test environments, test data, and testing tools effectively.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in software testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in manual testing (automation experience is a plus).
• Experience with test automation tools such as xRay, Allure, or similar.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Selenium, Mocha, Jest, or Jasmine.
• Knowledge of end-to-end testing automation tools (a plus).
• Understanding of API testing.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Strong grasp of SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Skills:

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Postman.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and active listening.
• Proficiency in English (Russian language is a plus).
• Experience in load testing is an advantage.
