The University of Limassol is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join its team as a Senior Marketing Executive. 

This is a pivotal role within the Marketing and Recruitment Department, ideal for a proactive individual with a passion for communication, events, and content creation. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting the University’s outreach and student recruitment initiatives, working closely with and under the guidance of the Director of Marketing and Recruitment. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns to support branding, recruitment, program promotion, and institutional positioning (locally and internationally). 
  • Develop a comprehensive annual marketing plan with clearly defined objectives, KPIs, budget, and timelines. 
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed. 
  • Oversee the planning, promotion, and execution of key institutional events (e.g., open days, career fairs, public lectures, graduation, gala evenings). 
  • Manage annual calendar of events ensuring strategic alignment with recruitment and branding goals. 
  • Lead post-event evaluations and implement improvements. 
  • Guide the development of content for social media, website, email marketing, newsletters, and press releases in coordination with internal and external teams. 
  • Ensure consistency in visual identity, messaging, and tone across platforms. 
  • Support SEO/SEM, PPC campaigns, and digital brand visibility. 
  • Liaise with academic departments, admissions, alumni, external agencies, and suppliers to ensure smooth implementation of campaigns and events. 
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships, media collaborations, and sponsorships. 
  • Coordinate the marketing staff and/or other team members as assigned. 
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity; recommend actions to differentiate and strengthen UoL’s brand. 
  • Contribute to creative briefs, marketing assets, and promotional tools. 
  • Uphold the brand guidelines of UoL and ensure high-quality communication at all times. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing & Recruitment Director on strategic initiatives and departmental priorities. 
  • Contribute to internal reporting, board updates, and planning processes. 
  • Represent the University at local and international events/fairs when necessary.  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience. 
  • Previous experience in higher education or event management is considered an asset. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English. 
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, digital tools, and Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
