Senior Dental Laboratory Technician at Dart Recruitment
On behalf of our client, a well-known Dental Clinic in Larnana, we are looking for an experienced Senior Dental Laboratory Technician with strong digital and analog skills, particularly in CAD/CAM, ceramics, veneers, zirconia, and implant prosthetics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and finishing high-quality fixed prosthetic restorations using both digital tools and traditional techniques.
Candidate profile:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fixed prosthetics and digital dental workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM systems, especially 3Shape or Exocad.
- Experience in zirconia, metal-ceramic, and porcelain layering.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and aesthetics.
- Ability to communicate clearly with the clinical team.
- Fluency in Greek and/or English.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital & Conventional Workflows
- Design restorations using 3Shape, Exocad, or similar CAD software.
- Operate milling machines (wet and dry) and 3D printers for in-house fabrication.
- Handle zirconia frameworks: design, mill, sinter, and finish.
- Process metal frameworks: design, cast/laser-sinter, and adjust for fit.
- Perform layering and firing of porcelain for highly aesthetic results.
- Use pressable ceramics (e.g., e.max) for veneers and crowns.
Fixed Prosthetics & Aesthetics
- Wax-up and model fixed prosthetic restorations: crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays/onlays, and implant abutments.
- Ensure precision in margins, occlusion, and shade matching.
- Collaborate with dentists to achieve excellent functional and aesthetic outcomes.
Quality Control & Collaboration
- Check restorations for accuracy, fit, and finish before delivery.
- Assist with shade selection and case discussions with clinicians.
- Supervise or mentor junior lab staff if needed.
Lab Management & Maintenance
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment.
- Organize and document digital workflows and physical models.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficient lab processes.
