What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Compliance Officer you will be responsible for overseeing compliance, AML, and legal matters across the regulated and unregulated entities serviced by the company. This role ensures that the company’s services align with applicable regulatory expectations, industry best practices, and contractual obligations. The Senior Compliance Officer will also supervise and support junior compliance staff to maintain efficiency and consistency in compliance-

related functions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with CySEC regulatory obligations, MiFID II rules, and internal compliance policies.
• Oversee and conduct compliance risk assessments, internal reviews, thematic monitoring, and control testing.
• Review and maintain compliance and general AML/KYC/CDD procedures, ensuring policies remain up to date and aligned with regulatory changes.
• Investigate, assess, and escalate regulatory breaches, client complaints, or compliance concerns in line with internal procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions, including periodic CySEC returns, compliance reports, complaints register submissions, and internal reporting.
• Maintain and update regulatory compliance registers (breaches, conflicts of interest, complaints, PAD, marketing approvals).
• Review marketing materials, client communications, and promotional content to ensure compliance with MiFID II marketing and conduct-of-business rules.
• Support regulatory change management, interpreting new laws and directives and implementing required updates.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor Junior Compliance Officers, ensuring workflow efficiency and quality of work.
• Act as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries from clients, auditors, legal advisors, or regulators.
• Support periodic internal audit and external audit processes, preparing documentation and corrective-action responses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 4 years of proven experience in compliance working for a regulated company
• Holder of the CySEC Advanced Certificate and/or AML Certification
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex legal documents
• Effective communication abilities and professional judgement
• High ethical standards and professional integrity
• Strong time management skills
• Attention to detail and being well organized
• Ability to work independently
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is an advantage

Working Schedule:

Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 17:00 Onsite.
