Senior Client Accountant at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Senior Client Accountant.

Salary:

• €25,000–33,000 per year

Work arrangement:

• Hybrid

Main duties:

• Maintain company books and accounting records under IFRS.
• Process invoices, receipts and payments.
• Reconcile bank, debtor and supplier balances monthly.
• Handle client bookkeeping requests and obtain supporting information and documents.
• Prepare and submit VAT and VIES reports.
• Assist with monthly payroll when needed.
• Coordinate with auditors, authorities and external stakeholders.
• Guide junior colleagues, review team work and assist with other accounting projects.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is preferred.
• ACA/ACCA qualification or professional studies are advantages.
• At least three years in a related position.
• Financial-services experience is advantageous.
• Strong IFRS, Cyprus tax and VAT knowledge.
• E-Soft experience is an advantage.
• Excellent Greek and English, and proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
