Senior Accountant at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Senior Accountant.

Salary:

– Up to €32,500 gross per year, paid in 13 salaries

Employment type:

– Full-time

Work arrangement:

– Primarily office-based in Larnaca, with possible hybrid flexibility

Main duties:

– Maintain complete accounting records for an assigned client portfolio and take ownership of deadlines.

– Prepare VAT, VIES and tax submissions, payroll records and statutory documentation.

– Prepare financial and management reports and organise files for audit.

– Review work completed by junior colleagues and coordinate with clients, auditors and authorities.

– Resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes and controls.

Requirements:

– Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

– At least three years of relevant accounting experience.

– Good knowledge of Cyprus VAT and tax requirements and strong financial-reporting ability.

– Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of client service.

– ACCA or ACA progress or qualification is advantageous.
