Senior Accountant at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Senior Accountant.

Salary:

– €21,000–26,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Employment type:

– Full-time.

Work arrangement:

– Hybrid in Nicosia.

Main duties:

– Post bookkeeping entries and maintain accurate client records.

– Reconcile accounts and prepare books for audit.

– Submit tax returns and prepare payroll and Social Insurance declarations.

– Set up new clients and communicate with them.

– Guide, coach and supervise junior staff and collaborate with the audit team.

Requirements:

– At least three years in an accounting firm or similar role.

– Accounting bachelor’s degree or LCCI Higher Certificate.

– Knowledge of Cyprus VAT legislation.

– Excellent Excel, Word and broader Microsoft Office skills.

– Excellent Greek and English; further languages are advantageous.

– Strong organisation and communication.
