Scope and General Purpose
We are seeking an E-Commerce Sales Specialist to join our dynamic Sales Team at WireWallet. In this role, you will drive commercial growth in one of the fastest-evolving sectors by engaging global merchants and e-commerce platforms, delivering Payments and IBAN solutions that enable them to scale internationally with security, speed, and compliance.
As part of WireWallet’s expanding fintech ecosystem, you’ll work alongside a passionate team, building long-term partnerships and helping clients optimize their cross-border operations.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and onboard high-potential e-commerce clients across global markets.
- Promote WireWallet’s Payments and IBAN solutions to support cross-border commerce.
- Partner with the Business Development and Marketing teams to craft tailored value propositions that meet client needs.
- Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation and pitching to negotiation, closing, and post-sale relationship management.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the e-commerce payments ecosystem.
- Attend industry events, expos, and trade shows to increase brand awareness and generate new business leads.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline progress, and client communications in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and a superior client experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in fintech, payments, merchant acquiring, or e-commerce sales.
- Strong understanding of merchant payments, cross-border transactions, foreign exchange (FX), and settlement processes.
- Existing network of e-commerce merchants, payment service providers (PSPs), or payment gateways.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to engage C-level decision-makers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently or within a collaborative team.
- Fluency in English is required; other languages are considered an asset.
