Restaurant Manager at UMAMI Sushi and Pan Asian

At UMAMI Sushi & Pan Asian, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food and memorable experiences to every guest. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager at Strovolos Nicosia, to lead our restaurant teams and ensure outstanding operations across all areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring standards and results are achieved
• Maintain and improve food quality, service, and presentation standards
• Improve internal processes for better productivity and efficiency
• Achieve budgeted sales and cost targets
• Set key performance goals and manage staff performance
• Oversee hiring, scheduling, and development of staff
• Weekly Scheduling of team members
• Monitor cash flow and sales performance
• End-of-Month Inventory Control
• Ensure compliance with local employment legislation
• Implement changes in laws and communicate updates to staff
• Conduct staff appraisals, ongoing training, and development at all levels
• Coach and develop junior managers and team members
• Maintain staff discipline and follow company procedures for any corrective actions
• Promote the restaurant locally and drive sales and profitability
• Invoice Handling and financial documentation

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant hospitality experience, including at least 2 years in managerial roles
• Proven leadership and team development abilities
• Strong customer service orientation
• Thorough understanding of Cyprus health & safety, food hygiene, and labor laws
• Experience managing labor costs and driving profitability
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in Greek and English
• EU citizenship or legal right to work in Cyprus (no visa sponsorship)
