On behalf of a prestigious 5-star resort in Paphos, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reservations Manager to lead the resort’s reservations team and ensure exceptional service delivery.

Job Summary

The Reservations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring all bookings are accurately recorded and processed. The role requires a strong focus on maximizing revenue through strategic upselling and cross-selling, while maintaining high customer service standards.

This position involves supervising the team, coordinating training and scheduling, conducting audits, and managing room and tee-time availability. The manager will work closely with guests, travel partners, and internal resort teams to ensure seamless operations and a high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and coach the reservations team to ensure adherence to procedures and delivery of outstanding customer service.
  • Prepare and manage team schedules to ensure adequate coverage across operating hours.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and review performance goals.
  • Develop and implement training plans to ensure team proficiency in all reservation systems, resort offerings, and procedures.
  • Enter and maintain contracted rates and relevant data (allotments, expiry dates, GDS codes, debtor numbers, etc.) in PMS systems.
  • Accurately handle reservations for golf, sports facilities, hotel stays, rentals, and practice facilities.
  • Conduct daily audits of bookings and provide a weekly report on upcoming allotment blocks (next 3 months), including suggested actions.
  • Handle reservation-related inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems for all correspondence.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficient in reservation and property management systems like Opera or Protel, as well as Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong leadership and staff training abilities.
  • Excellent command of the English language (additional languages are an asset).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Pleasant and approachable personality.
  • EU citizenship or valid EU work permit required.
