 What You’ll Do:

As a Quantitative Developer you will play a key role in building, scaling, and automating the models, analytics, and infrastructure that underpin IC Markets’ trading strategy. This role sits at the intersection of quantitative research, data engineering, and software development, ensuring our risk controls, pricing engines, and new product strategies are delivered with speed and precision.

You will work closely with Strategy, Risk, and Trading Operations to build production-grade solutions that drive decision-making, risk management, and product innovation

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Model Development & Deployment
• Design and deploy quantitative models for pricing, execution quality, risk scoring, and client analytics.
• Build logic for trade flow segmentation, performance attribution, and forecasting.
• Ensure models are accurate, low-latency, and production-ready.

• Data Infrastructure & Analytics
• Develop pipelines that integrate trading, risk, and operational data into research and monitoring systems.
• Work with time-series and tick-level data to enable both real-time and historical analysis.
• Support the development of dashboards and analytics tools used across teams.

• Automation & Performance
• Replace manual monitoring and interventions with automated, data-driven workflows.
• Build and test environments for scenario analysis and backtesting.
• Optimize processes for scalability and resilience across global trading hubs.

• Collaboration & Delivery
• Work with Risk to build tools for exposure management and early detection of anomalies.
• Partner with Trading Operations to improve routing, execution, and liquidity monitoring.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects that expand product capabilities and strengthen competitiveness.

Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn; ML frameworks a plus).
• Proficiency in C++/Java for low-latency execution and infrastructure.
• Experience with databases (Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Postgres, KDB+, ClickHouse, or other time-series DBs).
• Understanding financial data, FIX protocols, and order book dynamics.
• Background in quantitative finance, statistics, applied mathematics, or computer science.
• Experience designing models for execution, PnL attribution, or client/risk analytics preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MT4, MT5 trading platform
• Experience in Microservices
• Experience in multithread applications (C++, Python)
• Experience in cross platform development (Windows / Linux experience)
• Familiar with source code versioning systems (Gitlab, Github)

Working Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00
