Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Payments Architect.

Main duties:

• Own the technical roadmap and delivery of crypto and fiat payment capabilities across Java back-end services and React front-end applications.
• Lead and develop engineering squads through technical direction, one-to-one coaching and clear delivery standards.
• Design highly available, secure and scalable payment architecture and integrations with payment service providers, banks, crypto gateways and blockchain services.
• Strengthen transaction security, fraud controls, platform reliability and operational resilience.
• Guide sprint planning, releases and continuous-delivery practices while coordinating priorities with Product and Compliance teams.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of software-engineering experience, including at least 3 years in technical leadership.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise, with practical React experience.
• Deep understanding of payment systems, distributed architecture, transaction integrity and high-availability design.
• Experience with databases, message queues and microservices, and the ability to lead several workstreams.
• Experience in iGaming, fintech or crypto, plus knowledge of blockchain, wallets or PCI DSS, is advantageous.
• Cloud, Docker and Kubernetes experience is beneficial.
