Office Administration – Paralegal at D.E. Lavoro Agency Ltd
Position: Office Administration (Paralegal)
Location: Limassol
Type: On-Site
On behalf of our client, a reputable law firm, we are looking to hire a Paralegal Office Administrator to join their team in Limassol.
Duties:
- Handling telephone calls, recording messages, and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintaining, updating, organizing, and filing both physical and electronic records and databases of a legal, administrative, and professional nature.
- Monitoring and updating electronic justice platforms (e.g., i-Justice) and other legal or administrative software used by the Office.
- Tracking case deadlines and ensuring timely updates to lawyers.
- Preparing, typing, printing, copying, and filing legal documents and case files.
- Assisting lawyers and other Office staff with the preparation, drafting, or completion of applications, requests, and official forms.
- Maintaining and updating the electronic and physical court calendars and the stamp duty register.
- Preparing and filing various court documents; coordinating service and delivery of documents to opposing parties or lawyers.
- Conducting research in court files, obtaining copies, and preparing expense lists.
- Attending court hearings for minute-taking and handling all necessary procedural matters at the Court Registry.
- Informing clients about the progress of their legal proceedings and coordinating with them for the arrangement of sworn statements or filings.
- Visiting and representing the Office or clients before Courts in other Districts for procedural purposes.
- Accompanying clients to Court for the execution of sworn statements.
- Visiting and representing the Office or clients before Public, State, Governmental, Municipal, or Local Authorities and Departments, as well as Banks and other Organizations, for the submission of applications, completion of procedures, or other necessary actions.
- Collecting and assembling documents required to support applications submitted to the above Authorities, communicating with clients, and liaising with relevant Departments to facilitate processing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Legal Secretarial Studies (Paralegal) or previous experience in similar position in a Law firm.
- Very good knowledge of English and Greek, both written and verbal.
- Computer literate and knowledge of office software.
- Multi-tasking, communication, administrative, organizational and management skills.
- Character integrity, professionalism, conscientiousness, responsibility and reliability.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
