Mid-Level Accountants at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Mid-Level Accountants.

Salary:

• €25,000–€35,000 gross per year

Employment type:

• Full-time.

Work arrangement:

• On-site in Paphos.

Main duties:

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for a portfolio of local and international clients.
• Record and reconcile bank transactions, sales and purchase invoices, expenses and other financial entries.
• Complete bank, supplier, customer and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT, VIES and OSS returns.
• Assist with payroll calculations and related submissions.
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting records for annual audits.
• Liaise with auditors, clients, banks and relevant authorities.
• Monitor accounting and tax deadlines and ensure timely filings and deliverables.
• Review financial information, resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance with accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant experience in accounting, audit, fiduciary or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT and financial reporting.
• Experience managing multiple clients or entities at the same time.
• Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.
• Strong analytical, organisational and time-management skills with close attention to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and take ownership of assigned work.
• Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
