Mid-Level Accountant at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Mid-Level Accountant.

Salary:

– €25,000–€35,000 yearly

Employment type:

– Full-time employment

Work arrangement:

– On-site work in Paphos

Main duties:

– Manage accounting records for a portfolio of local and international clients.

– Record bank transactions, invoices and expenses.

– Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts.

– Complete bank, customer, supplier and balance-sheet reconciliations.

– Prepare VAT and VIES returns, payroll and audit schedules.

– Liaise with auditors, clients, banks and authorities.

– Resolve discrepancies, meet statutory deadlines and support junior colleagues.

– Maintain professional and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

– Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

– Relevant experience in accounting, audit, fiduciary services or professional services.

– Practical knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT and financial reporting.

– Ability to manage several client files and deadlines.

– Fluent Greek and English.

– Strong analytical, organisational, time-management and ownership skills.

– Good accounting-software and Excel skills.

– ACCA studies or another relevant professional qualification are an advantage.
