Maintenance Technician – Property Management

The Opportunity
A growing real estate business in Limassol is looking for a practical and reliable Maintenance Technician to support its property management operations across a portfolio of residential properties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance, minor repairs and general upkeep, helping ensure properties and communal areas remain safe, functional and well presented. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can identify problems quickly, carry out general repairs independently and coordinate specialist trades when required.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out routine maintenance and general repairs across residential properties and communal areas.
· Respond to maintenance requests and investigate faults in a timely and professional manner.
· Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, fixtures, fittings and other general repair work within appropriate competency levels.
· Inspect properties regularly and identify maintenance issues before they develop into larger problems.
· Support apartment preparation, snagging and minor repair works between occupancies or prior to handover.
· Coordinate with external electricians, plumbers, air-conditioning technicians and other specialist contractors when required.
· Monitor completed contractor works and report any outstanding issues to the Property Management team.
· Maintain basic records of maintenance activities, materials used and outstanding repairs.
· Ensure tools, equipment and maintenance areas are kept organised and in good working condition.
· Follow appropriate health and safety procedures while carrying out maintenance activities.
Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum 2 years of practical experience in property maintenance, facilities, construction, building services or a similar hands-on role.
Technical Ability: Good general maintenance skills with practical knowledge of common building repairs. Experience across basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting or similar trades is highly desirable.
Property Experience: Previous experience maintaining residential properties, apartment buildings, hotels or managed facilities would be an advantage.
Approach: Reliable, practical and solution-oriented, with the ability to work independently and respond efficiently to maintenance issues.
Organisation: Able to prioritise multiple maintenance requests and communicate clearly with property managers, residents, contractors and suppliers.
Driving: A valid driving licence is required.
Languages: Good communication skills in English are required. Greek would be considered an advantage.
