What You’ll Do:

As a Junior Compliance Officer you will assist with monitoring and surveillance, ensuring adherence to regulations like those from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), supporting client onboarding and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, and helping with policy and procedure documentation. The role involves a mix of regulatory interpretation, risk assessment, and ensuring that the company’s activities, especially in the Forex and CFD industry, remain compliant with both EU and international standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Assist with regulatory monitoring and surveillance, ensuring activities comply with applicable CySEC and MiFID II rules.
• Support the review of client documentation and onboarding files for completeness, including basic AML/KYC verification under supervision.
• Help maintain, update, and organize compliance policies, procedures, manuals, and registers (complaints, conflicts of interest, PAD, marketing approvals).
• Assist in monitoring the implementation of regulatory changes and updating relevant documentation accordingly.
• Support the preparation of internal compliance reports and tracking of regulatory deadlines.
• Assist with reviewing marketing materials and client communications for compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support screening activities (sanctions, PEPs, adverse media) as part of general compliance onboarding and monitoring.
• Help deliver internal training sessions and materials to enhance staff regulatory awareness.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Senior Compliance Officers and Head of Compliance.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Law or Finance, Business or another related field with minimum Upper Second Class or equivalent
• CySEC Advanced Certificate will be considered as an advantage
• Forex/ Regulatory experience will be considered as an advantage
• Fluent in Greek and English (any additional languages will be considered an advantage)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Attention to detail and being well organized
• Professional, disciplined and strong work-ethic
• Ability to work independently
• Highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn

Working Schedule:

Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 17:00 Onsite.
