Junior Compliance Officer

GAP Vassilopoulos Group one of the 25 biggest employers in Cyprus, is currently seeking to recruit a Junior Compliance Officer to join our team in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, particularly in relation to electronic money and payment services
• Support the preparation of reports for regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders
• Help maintain compliance documentation and update internal records and databases
• Participate in the review of client onboarding procedures and transaction monitoring
• Assist in conducting basic internal audits and compliance reviews under supervision
• Support the team in keeping up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations
• Assist in preparing training materials and supporting the delivery of compliance awareness sessions
• Collaborate with other departments to gather required data and documentation for compliance processes

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
• Strong interest in financial services regulation, compliance, and risk management
• Good organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional and regulated environment
