Italian Restaurant Chef at Alpha.Jobs

Alpha.jobs, on behalf of its client and in cooperation with a licensed employment agency with license number 547, is looking for Italian Restaurant Chef.

Salary:

– €2,000–€2,200 gross per month

Employment type:

– Full-time

Work arrangement:

– On-site at a luxury resort in Paphos

Main duties:

– Lead the daily operation of an Italian-restaurant kitchen and deliver consistent quality, preparation and presentation.

– Protect the authenticity of Italian and Mediterranean dishes and support menu development and seasonal specials.

– Organise mise en place, supervise service and train, motivate and coordinate the kitchen team.

– Control food cost, portions, stock rotation, storage and waste.

– Maintain HACCP, food-hygiene and health-and-safety standards and support VIP events or wider culinary operations.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a restaurant chef, sous chef or senior kitchen professional, preferably in luxury hospitality or high-end Italian dining.

– Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine, techniques and ingredients.

– Practical knowledge of HACCP, cost control, stock management and waste reduction.

– Leadership, communication and team-management skills with good English.

– Ability to work under pressure while maintaining exacting standards.
