IT Support/Field Engineer – Larnaca

On behalf of our client, a leading Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) company, we are seeking a Junior IT Support/Field Engineer to join their team in Larnaca.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for end-users, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Monitor, manage, and maintain systems, applications, and IT infrastructure.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues by analysing logs and using monitoring tools.
• Assist with technical lifecycle tasks, such as software/firmware updates, patch management, and hardware replacements/upgrades.
• Deploy and install various IT systems, including servers, networks, and peripherals.
• Ensure timely resolution of support requests in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, issues, and processes.
• Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux desktop/server operating systems.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Previous experience or active certifications in VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, or Veeam technologies will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to delivering quality work.
• Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driving license (Category B, Manual).
• Quick learner with adaptability to evolving technologies.
